We are devoted to putting safety first, growing our workers, and upholding human rights. As community members, we make large investments in big projects as well as local goods and services, which creates jobs and generates cash for local communities. We give back to local communities in the hopes that our actions today will help future generations meet their needs.
We make social investment contributions and charitable donations to organizations and other good causes in accordance with our strategy and basic beliefs, as outlined in our Social Investment and Charitable Donations Standard. We seek to serve the local communities in which we operate, with an emphasis on education, cheap energy, health and safety, and the environment. We encourage our staff to help their local communities by volunteering.

Triventus Biogas AB is continuing to modernize its recruiting processes to ensure an emphasis on diversity, equality, and inclusion (DE&I), by utilizing new communication channels and targeting new prospective recruitment populations.
We share our successful projects in Sweden with our worldwide operations to ensure best practices and alignment. This includes implementing a graduate recruitment structure to assist attract and hire young people in these areas.
We continue to benchmark our incentive compensation programmes and benefits to ensure we remain in the upper quartile for our total reward package

In 2022, we contributed $1.5 million in charitable donations and social investments. We were particularly concerned about the impact of higher inflation and rising energy costs on our Swedish employees. To assist our employees during this difficult time, we provided a one-time cost-of-living payment to all Sweden-based employees below senior management level and core contractors. Recipients of the cash have the option to donate a portion or all of it to charity.
Our highest corporate charity giving was to National Energy Action (NEA). The National Energy Action (NEA) is a national organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living in fuel poverty and lobbying to ensure that everyone can afford to live in a warm and safe home.
Triventus Biogas AB supports a number of projects, including the social responsibility Trust’s education programme. The project, based in Sweden, aims to connect young people to the country through engaging and hands-on activities related to the Curriculum for Excellence.
The Sweden Trust is a community-based charitable organization founded in 2022 to advance our understanding of the ecology and associated fish populations of Sweden, allowing us to make practical improvements and restore the river and the animals it sustains.
