Our safety framework
We are always trying to decrease risk and protect the safety of everyone working for us by setting the proper tone at the top and then carefully enforcing standards and procedures, training, raising awareness, and exchanging information. Our Triventus Biogas AB HSES Management System Standard is made up of 14 aspects that apply to our entire organization. This standard is compliant with significant external standards and management system models such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, the Energy Institute Process Safety Management Framework, and the International Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Standard Number 510. It establishes the minimal criteria for HSES management, which have been approved by our Board through the HSES committee. Our HSES Management System Standard will be supplemented by new global standards that incorporate best practices from across the Group.
Process safety
We aspire for process safety excellence and work continuously to reduce the likelihood and severity of process safety incidents. This includes following best practices in the design, use, and repair of our equipment, as well as designing each stage of our operations with safety concerns and the hierarchy of control in mind.
Our process safety criteria are based on industry best practices, including the Energy Institute’s Framework for Process Safety Management, and are implemented through our business management system (BMS). The Corporate Major Accident Prevention Policy outlines our process safety obligations and requirements.
We report and evaluate any process safety incidents, as well as develop measures to prevent them from happening again, in accordance with the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) Tier 1 and Tier 2 criteria. Our mission is to achieve process safety excellence throughout our operations.
